MS Team Academic Pentathlon
A team of up to nine students up through grades 8 compete work together across five subjects and skills to showcase their interdisciplinary prowess for awards.
The Academic Pentathlon is a comprehensive multidisciplinary competition to encourage students to have broad knowledge and skills in a verdant world. Schools and associations create teams of up to nine students in grades 6 through 8 where their individual scores contribute to the team standings, much like team sports like archery or gymnastics. This rigorous competition features five multiple-choice exams (Fine Arts, Literature, Math, Science, Social Science) along with an Essay composition . By participating in the Pentathlon, students experience the excitement of in-person competition, enhance their teamwork and communication skills, and represent their school at the highest level.
