MS Individual Academic Pentathlon
Students can also participate independently to learn, develop, and complete the Academic Pentathlon curriculum for awards.
The Academic Pentathlon is a comprehensive multidisciplinary competition to encourage students to have broad knowledge and skills in a verdant world. Individuals in grades 6 through 8 who have independent studies or do not have resources at their schools to create teams can work with Florida Academic Decathlon to participate independently in the pursuit of awards and scholarships.This rigorous competition features five multiple-choice exams (Fine Arts, Literature, Math, Science, Social Science) along with an Essay composition . By participating in the Pentathlon, students experience the excitement of in-person competition, enhance their teamwork and communication skills, and represent themselves at the highest level.
