Testing Changes for 2026-27

In order to meet the changing testing landscape and best prepare our students for life after high school, USAD will be making some life changes to match expectations of our students for colleges and vocations.

For the 2026-27 Competition Series, we've made a couple of changes.

First, the number of multiple choice questions in comeptitions will change from 5 to 4, to be more in line with standardized testing.

Second, the mathematics competition will be without a calculator and will be written so that competitors can solve without requiring the use of one.
