Florida students shine at Greg Jackson Invitational

The school year kicks off into high gear with actions and events across the nation.
Florida students participated in the Greg Jackson Invitational hosted by Irving Independent School District in Texas for the first time. Learning how to utilize the tools for the first time, Florida placed in the top twenty for a great start to the season, especially against some of the largest schools and programs across the country.
Oakwood High School from Ohio took the team victory with Arizona's Canyon Del Oro High School and Arizona's BASIS Chandler Charter School rounding out the medal podium. The season gears back into action next year with student workshops and more qualifying competitions geared around the Roaring Twenties and the Jazz Age in the upcoming year.
